Not much to tell you about my life, but I got Kerrang! yesterday for the first time AGES
Weird really, seeing I used to buy it religiously..
But anyway.
There was a covers CD that came with it.
&& Im bored enough to bother to write a track by track review sorta thing of it :]

Sooooo

1.  Lostprophets - Davidan [ orginally by Machine Head]
I quite like Machine Head, but I havent actually heard the original of this before :] However, I expected Machine Head fans would probably think they killed it. I was wrong :] I was amazed to find that they did a pretty good job, and I reckon Lostprophets should do more metal stuff in their music, cause I really like this track :]

2. Aiden - Drain You [originally by Nirvana]
I love Nirvana & I really dont think a band like Aiden should attempt to cover them. The instruments were ok, but it sounded a bit ameteurish. Also WiL's voice REALLY dosen't suit this track. So in general, they killed it. Kurt Cobain is probably rolling in his grave.

3. Fightstar - Breaking The Law [originally by Judas Priest]
This is the last track I would of expected Fightstar to do. However, their arrangement was quite intresting :] I cant say I really liked this cover, but then I cant say I hated it either ... Tbh, I still cant get over the fact that their lead singer was in Busted. Lol.

4. Bullet For My Valentine - Creeping Death [originally by Metallica]
As much as I like BFMV, they did their usual thing of completely murdering a good Metallica song ...

5. The Automatic - Epic [originally by Faith No More]
The original of this is one of my favourite songs everr... So as you can imagine, I wanted to cry when I saw that the Automatic had covered it. It was AWFUL. But better than I thought it would be :] The only thing that made it good is Pennie ... Cause I love him.. as much as I hate the Automatic :]

6. FFAF - The Boys Are Back In Town [originally by Thin Lizzy]
Dont like the song, dont like the band. So basically, I didnt like it  :]

7. Madina Lake - Today [originally by Smashing Pumpkins]
I like the original of this song, and I dont really think Madina Lake did it justice. However, I do like the little electro bits they put in it , and how they made it a bit heavier :]

8. Sign - Youth Gone Wild [originally by Skid Row]
I dont really know the song ... & I only vaugely know Sign, but I think its a fairly good cover :]

9. The audition - Living on a Prayer [orginally by Bon Jovi]
I like this song [ && Im not ashamed of it] , but I dont really like the audition, && they killed this song :[

10. Soulfly - Beautiful People [ originally by Marylin Manson]
I love the original of this song, and although I dont really know Soufly, they did a good job :]

11. The Blackout - My Generation [orginally by Limp Biscuit]
I Love the Blackout, but I odnt really like LB, && I dont like this cover...

12. YCNI:M - Feel Good Hit Of The Summer [originally by QOTSA]
I love QOTSA, so I was eager to see how YCNI:M did on this... & they did ok, but i don't like it.

13. Darkest Hour - Nazi Punks F*ck Off [originally by Dead Kennedys]
I dont know the band, or the the song, but its an fairly decent track :]

14. Gallows - Nervous Breakdown [orignally by Black Flag]
Im not the worlds biggest fan of Gallows, but I quite like the song, although I wasn't too bothered whether they kille dit or not... like quite a few of the tracks on this CD, it was ok, but not good.

15. BMTH - Eyeless [ orignally by Slipknot]
They saved the best 'till last :] BMTH are one of my fave bands, & its the only Slipknot song I Really like. They did an Amazing job & it sounded even better than it did live :] I LOVE this song && I couldnt stop listening to it OVER & OVER again :] It may actually become one of my favourite songs now :] 

So Ive decided I'm going to start writing fan fics agian.
I'm not really sure about what yet, I'm waiting for the idea to come to me :]
But as a kinda inspiration/ heres what I'm capable of, i'm going to do better .. thing, im going to make this a post of everything I've ever written..
which is pretty much all unfinsihed.. && I'll write a little bit about each one.

I really cannot believe this.

The lead singer of a rather famous. && a rather fantasic [yeh, Ive seen them live =)]  band wants to go out with my best friend!

I am compeltelty seriouse.

Im not gonna name names or anything. But one thing I really do have to say is that THEY ARE FRIENDS WITH BMTH!.

Its amazing.

&& Youre probably wondering how this happened. But basically, the lead singer, is my friend Molli's cousin, & Molli showed him some pics of my best mate [lorella] AND HE ASKED IF SHE WAS SINGLE!

There was much OMG OMG OMG - ing this afternoon =]

Lol.

But anyway. Moving away from my stupid fangirly moment.

Im looking forward to tmz. Cause Skins is on =] && Im gonna go into Bromley and get the Klaxons album .

Oh AND I just bought the red Drop Dead tee with the swallows on it... & My mum bought the ribcage one. Lol. =p

I did this Street Art Workshop thingy today, it was reali kwl. We just started out doing Drama Games & stuff ... TESS GAVE ME JUPITER & ROCKET. Lolz. But yeh... Thats the longest time Ive ever spent in a room with Tess in my life.. Perhaps I should shut up about Tess. But yeh I cant believe shes moving to Brighton.. I hardly even know her and Im pissed about it.. She said she mite sell me these reali kwl guitar pedals for reali cheap though =] Which would rock.

MOVING ON...

Back to the Street Art thingy.. =p.  We then went & learnt how to walk on stilts =] It was preety scary. =/. But fun scary.

I spose thats all really. 

I miss Meg already. Its not fair! she needs to come and live in my houseeee. =[ Lol.  Well Maybe not. But  I just wish we were accepted. I just wish we could do what we wantd in school without the fear of bullying.

But enough sad talk..

I Really need to finsh my Sean & Oli fic. I wanted to do it last night... but I practically fell asleep on top of the keyboard.
